The range has 4 types from the C 450 litres gas cylinder through to the VF option offering 3600 litres of carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is commonly used as an insufflation gas for minimal invasive surgery (laparoscopy, endoscopy, and arthroscopy) and to enlarge and stabilize body cavities to provide better visibility of the surgical area. It may also be used in cryotherapy, where temperatures of -76° C, can be achieved as well as respiratory stimulation during and after anaesthesia.

Carbon dioxide is colourless, odourless and toxic in high concentration. Suitable for Drink Dispensing, Laser Welding and MAP

60/40 (40% Nitrogen + 60% Carbon Dioxide) is ideally suited for dispensing highly carbonated lagers and ciders. Our 60/40 gas is available for purchase in 2 size cylinders – from 10 litre up to 50 litre – which offers our customers adaptability depending on usage volume and the space in which they have to store the cylinders. The 10litre cylinders are suitable for drop access cellars as they are compact and easy to manage in smaller spaces. Alternatively, 50 litre cylinders are great for direct access cellars and as the cylinder provides 5 times the quantity of gas as the 10 litre, they are great for businesses which have a high volume of pumps running from one system. Carbon Dioxide is a food grade gas that is primarily used for dispensing lagers, ciders and soft drinks. Generally speaking, the larger the amount of carbon dioxide introduced to the drink, the ‘fizzier’ a drink will become – resulting in a crisp finish. We provide this food grade gas in 3 cylinder sizes, offering our customers versatility in product depending on storage space available. Our 6.35kg cylinders are perfect for drop access cellars and cellars that don’t offer a lot of excess space. Alternatively, our 34kg cylinders are perfect for those with direct access to their cellar. For larger applications, such as for use in breweries, our food grade Carbon Dioxide is also available in an 11 cylinder pack to support undisrupted production. You should not use this gas for welding and industrial purposes – please see our Carbon Dioxide for industrial use.

Carbon Dioxide’s most common use is for MAG welding carbon steels using solid or flux cored wire. Alternatively, you can use the gas as a shielding gas for stainless and alloy steels with the appropriate wire. Carbon Dioxide is sold (by weight) in a variety of single cylinder options from 6.35kg to 34kg. We also supply a pack which contains 374kg of product (11 x 34kg cylinder pack). Whether you require mobile welding functionality or supply for fixed pipework, we have the option to suit. Our CO2 cylinders feature standard industry BS8 fittings, meaning you can use your existing equipment with no extra expense. You should not use this gas for packaging food, drinks dispense or hospitality purposes – please see our Carbon Dioxide for drinks dispense.
